Attendance Dues

Attendance Dues are set by the Catholic Education Office, in conjunction with the Bishops' of New Zealand and are a condition of enrolment for every child who enters a Catholic School. The school grounds and buildings are owned by the Catholic Education Office and the Attendance Dues are used for the upkeep of these.  This fee, as at 1st January 2011, is currently set at the rate of $92.50 per child per term.  We encourage parents/caregivers to pay these fees by Automatic Payment ~ monthly rates and bank details are available from the school office. Term accounts will be sent out to those who prefer this method.  The collection point for this money is the school office and then forwarded directly to the RC Bishop of Auckland ~ none of this money is retained by St Francis School.  For those Catholic families who face genuine financial hardship, a hardship grant  can be applied for via the school office.

School Accounts

School accounts are also sent out once a term.  These include items which have been obtained for children eg,  religious education resources,  hireage for local facilities eg pool hire, and also School Donations and Catholic Character Donations.   School Donations are set at the rate of $15.00 per child per term and are used for extras over and above the normal budgeted expenses.  The Catholic Character Donations are forwarded to the Catholic Integrated Schools Board and are used for resources and Religious Education Advisors who will advise teachers on the Catholic Character which makes our school unique.
