Enrolment
St Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of our school.
Prayer of St Francis of Assisi
Lord, make me an instrument of peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon,
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is darkness light,
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love,
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Preferential Enrolment
Preferential status means having a connection with the Catholic Church. Catholic parents who wish to enrol their child at St Francis must first consult with the Parish Priest who has the responsibility for school enrolments. (Contact phone number 07 868 6169) Father will determine whether your child is regarded as a preferential pupil or not. There is a set criteria which Father must follow when determining this.
Criteria for Preference of enrolment in Integrated Catholic Schools.
Currently it is a legal obligation for St Francis School to have 90% of our pupils as preferential pupils.
Non Preferential Enrolments
10% of our maximum roll (120) are non-preference. Enquiries regarding non-preference enrolments must be directed to the Principal. If this roll is full there is a waiting list to enter the school via the non-preference enrolment list and parents/guardians are encouraged to contact the school as early as possible if they wish to enrol their non-Catholic child at St Francis.
New Entrant Enrolments
We encourage parents and children to visit the school prior to enrolment, this can be arranged by contacting the Principal via the school office. Upon enrolment at St Francis School a number of official forms must be produced. These include your child's birth certificate, immunisation certificate, and the preference card obtained from the Parish Priest (if a preference enrolment).
